Systems Development Engineer, OTS - Global Portfolio Strategy

Job Description

Join Amazon's OTS Supply Chain team as a Systems Development Engineer to help transform technology infrastructure through innovative PLM solutions and critical supply chain systems.

Requirements

• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
• Programming experience with modern languages such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
• Knowledge of database systems and SQL
• 3+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems

Responsibilities

• Design and implement technology solutions for PLM and supply chain systems
• Build and maintain resilient, scalable infrastructure components
• Develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency
• Identify and resolve architectural deficiencies in existing systems
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and diagnostic solutions
• Collaborate with partner teams to improve system integration and performance
• Lead technical design reviews and contribute to architecture discussions
• Troubleshoot complex operational issues and drive root cause resolution
• Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance requirements are met
• Participate in on-call rotations to support critical business systems
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions
