Sr. I&T Engineer, Kuiper Ground Systems

Job Description

Project Kuiper is seeking a Satellite Communications ground integration and test engineer to join their ground systems team to work on the development and rollout of low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity via Low Earth Orbit satellites.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience-education
• 6+ years in integration and test and/or product verification and validation roles
• 2+ years using RF and Network test equipment associated with SATCOM communications
• 2+ years in development and deployment of automated tests

Responsibilities

• Lead development, integration, and ongoing build operations of ground gateway antenna and terminal test systems
• Work closely with implementation teams to troubleshoot issues and make recommendations for improvements
• Support the Ground Systems team in identifying and executing design corrective actions
• Lead in the development of optimized field deployment integration and operational readiness test programs
• Lead in the development of automated tests for site build defect discovery and correction
• Communicate regularly on status, risk, and change control
