Senior Payload Integration & Test Engineer, Project Kuiper

Job Description

Amazon's Project Kuiper is seeking a Sr. Payload I&T Engineer to work on integration and testing activities for satellite payloads and related features.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of satellite and/or cellular lab testing experience.
• Experience with Linux, basic networking skills, and RF lab equipment configuration.
• Experience with test development in Python or similar language.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and execute test campaigns for functionality and performance.
• Engage with various engineering teams to capture requirements and define use cases.
• Perform end-to-end functional and performance testing on ground equipment, satellite, customer terminals, and cloud services.
• Troubleshoot deeply to anticipate failures and root cause issues.
• Draft and maintain high-quality documentation for program-level feedback.
• Enhance testing efficiency by automating test execution and analysis.
