Job Description

Join the Amazon Connectivity team as a Software Development Engineer in Wi-Fi SW connectivity organization to design and enhance connectivity software solutions for Amazon devices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#
• Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices
• Hands-on experience in IEEE802.11/Wi-Fi protocols and extensions
• Experience with Wi-Fi development and debugging tools
• Experience with Android and Linux development on kernel, device drivers, and frameworks

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance Wi-Fi software for Amazon's consumer products
• Optimize Wi-Fi performance and power consumption for connectivity platforms
• Engage with vendors to integrate Wi-Fi chipset solutions
• Collaborate with other software teams to design and deliver unique customer features on top of Wi-Fi
• Provide technical assistance to troubleshoot customer issues
