Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking OSP Design Engineers and Geospatial Analysts to help build and maintain one of the world's largest and most complex networks.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in an IT-related field
• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
• 2+ years of data, inventory, or records management in GIS Systems

Responsibilities

• Design fiber solutions and maintain records surrounding fiber optic infrastructure using GIS and associated tools
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders
• Create engineering design and documents, cable routing, and splicing work packages in a GIS system
• Ingest and audit GIS data for completeness and accuracy
• Optimize processes to improve efficiency and delivery
• Willingness to travel 10% of the time
