Proactive Security Engineer, Customer Service Security Threat

Job Description

Amazon Customer Service Security's Proactive Security Operations team is seeking a Security Engineer in Seattle, WA to design and execute security assessments, hunt for threats, and develop security tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, software development, cryptography, system administration, and network security experience
• 2+ years of programming experience in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++, or similar language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP
• Demonstrable knowledge of adversarial emulation and red team operations
• Experience in threat hunting and threat intelligence analysis

Responsibilities

• Design and execute targeted adversarial emulation campaigns globally
• Lead threat hunting operations using data analytics
• Develop and maintain security automation tools for worldwide operations
• Transform threat intelligence into actionable security improvements
• Mentor team members and shape security testing methodologies
• Drive measurable improvements in security detection and response capabilities
• Contribute to the team's technical strategy and roadmap
• Create and maintain documentation for security operations and tools
