ADC Engineer II, Amazon Dedicated Cloud Relational Engineering

Job Description

AWS is seeking an ADC Engineer to own and advance mission critical services in Amazon Dedicated Clouds (ADC) and work with some of the largest distributed systems in the world.

Requirements

• Associate's degree, or Cloud+ or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
• 4+ years Linux experience
• 4+ years of experience with scripting in bash, python, perl, php, shell or similar languages
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Dive deep to find the root cause of customer issues
• Investigate why metrics are trending in the wrong direction
• Discuss radical new approaches to automate operational processes
• Provide troubleshooting and operations support
• Innovate to automate operational tasks
• Identify and resolve operational concerns in a timely manner
