Job Description

Amazon Lab126 is looking for an experienced Systems Development Engineer to join their Design Technologies team to build and support systems for the next generation of Amazon digital devices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of designing or architecting of new and existing systems experience
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 3+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience
• 3+ Year of experience & proficiency in developing, deploying applications utilizing AWS cloud solutions
• 3+ Year of experience & proficiency in managing AWS cloud services
• 3+ Years of experience automating systems services as well as administering and managing Linux and Windows Servers
• 3+ years of experience developing software, applications/services using one or more languages/scripts such as Java, C, C++, Python

Responsibilities

• Building, maintaining, and supporting systems for Amazon's research, development, and design teams
• Coordinating with researchers and engineers to provide necessary infrastructure
• Working with vendors to evaluate, purchase, deploy, and support mission-critical tools
• Customizing and integrating third-party software to meet Amazon's needs
• Improving existing infrastructure to ensure operational excellence
