Systems Dev Engineer II, Device OS SCM Team

Job Description

Lead Developer Tools and Services role within the Device OS organization at Amazon, focusing on empowering developers to create top-notch software for Amazon Devices.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of programming experience in languages like C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby
• At least 4 years of professional software development experience
• Extensive background (6+ years) in designing and architecting new systems
• 4+ years of hands-on systems development in IT or data center environments
• Proficiency in deploying and operating within Linux/Unix environments
• Strong expertise in systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process enhancement
• Familiarity with modern programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Perl

Responsibilities

• Lead in the design, construction, and deployment of high-performing software solutions in production environments
• Create and maintain CI/CD configurations and workflows
• Implement containerization/virtualization using Docker and AWS services
• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
• Work with CI/CD pipelines build processes
