Sr Power Electronics Engineer, Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS)

Job Description

Project Kuiper is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to work on the KGS team delivering satellite broadband services to the United States and allied government customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in hardware development across the full product life cycle
• Experience in Space, Aerospace/Defense, Automotive, and/or Communications fields
• Experience with schematic and layout ECAD tools and with PCB design and debugging

Responsibilities

• Interact directly with customers to understand technical requirements and translate them into robust solutions
• Responsible for electrical circuit design for hosting sensitive RF and communications payloads
• Analyze designed circuits using software tools for performance and characterization
• Deliver well-written documentation, reports, and presentations for technical design reviews
