Systems Engineer/Architect, Amazon Robotics Systems Architecture Team

Job Description

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Systems Engineer/Architect to join a dynamic team that provides systems leadership for concept development, architecture, and design of robotics systems and industrial equipment.

Requirements

• BS or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Physics, or another STEM discipline
• 6+ years of engineering experience

Responsibilities

• Define, expand, and explore the design space for complex, multidisciplinary robotics and automation problems
• Identify and analyze cross-functional tradeoffs between design alternatives
• Perform technical risk assessments and devise mitigation plans
• Develop and communicate system integration and evaluation strategies and plans
• Drive and prioritize execution of system test campaigns
