Job Description

The Amazon Security Threat Intelligence (ACTI) organization is looking for a Software Development Engineer to architect and lead the development of mission-critical distributed systems that power Amazon's threat intelligence capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and Typescript
• Experience with AWS services and cloud-native architectures

Responsibilities

• Own and architect critical components of ACTI's threat intelligence platforms
• Design and implement distributed systems that process petabytes of security data
• Lead the development of service-oriented architectures
• Drive technical decisions around data modeling and storage solutions
• Mentor junior engineers on system design and coding practices
