Job Description

AWS is looking for a Sr. Piping Engineer to join their global data center engineering team in Seattle, Washington or Herndon, Virginia, responsible for designing and innovating within their expanding data center footprint.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering or equivalent technical experience
• 7+ years of experience in heavy industrial environments
• Experience collaborating with construction and plant personnel

Responsibilities

• Define and analyze piping and pipe supports to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to design new data center product solutions
• Support field engineering and data center operation teams for root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Standardize and modularize data center products for economy of scale
• Provide technical expertise to peers, senior management, and partner teams
• Lead key initiatives, work with global suppliers, and provide product design support
