Systems Development Engineer II, ADC Security Services (A2SE)

Job Description

The Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) Security Systems Engineering team is looking for a skilled engineer to join their impactful projects that shape the future of Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) Regions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing production software issues (Typescript, Python, Bash, Ruby, and other languages)
• Developing tools, automation, and monitoring solutions to reduce manual toil and improve operational excellence
• Designing new systems, reviewing others' code, performing design reviews, and contributing to org-wide initiatives to improve the builder experience
