Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. The team focuses on critical satellite functions including power management, hardware interfaces, command & telemetry, and autonomous control.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in Rust, C, C++, or other modern languages
• Write device drivers and system applications for the various satellite systems
• Write software to interact with micro-controllers
• Work closely with other software and hardware teams to support board bring-up and integration testing
