Job Description

Join a creative team of Operations Technology Engineers at Amazon to build and maintain wired and wireless networks for fulfillment centers and transportation sites worldwide.

Requirements

• 4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience
• 4+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell, and/or Perl experience

Responsibilities

• Identifying, developing, and delivering technical solutions to improve network availability
• Partnering with peer teams to find technological solutions for customer problems
• Defining and metering the availability of network solutions
• Reducing operational impact to customers and enabling scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized services
• Driving root cause resolution of network events impactful to the business
• Innovating and automating infrastructure testing, deployment, operations, and life-cycle management
• Defining strategy for future team processes, tools, and maintenance improvements
• Participating in a Global organization providing 24x7 escalation service on shift rotation basis
• Contributing to hiring and developing top talent at Amazon
