Quality Engineer

Job Description

The Quality Engineer - Service position at METCO is a crucial role within the engineering team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, requiring a self-motivated individual with proven project experience and a drive for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical Engineering or Industrial Technology, or minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong Electrical and Mechanical Aptitude with problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with troubleshooting electrical charging/battery systems is helpful.
• Hands-on experience supplemented by technical seminars.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Must be permanently eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Create and ensure current, accurate work instructions and related documentation.
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities for production and quality levels.
• Analyze capital expenditures and project designs to reduce costs.
• Coordinate equipment installation and maintenance, troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain fixture and quality equipment, track key process information, and transfer knowledge to personnel.
• Monitor budget, develop best practices, and participate in Kaizen and project engineering.
• Test, inspect, and troubleshoot Milwaukee Tool products.
• Read/interpret Electrical Schematics, collect and communicate data, and operate lab equipment.
• Support Quality/Reliability team activities and develop/implement audit plans.
