Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer position at Milwaukee Tool involves creating work instructions, implementing improvement opportunities, analyzing processes, managing projects, and more in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum of five (5) years manufacturing engineering experience
• Supervisory experience helpful
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
• High level of self-initiative and proven project management skills
• Knowledge of production systems and techniques
• Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
• Computer knowledge and skills

Responsibilities

• Create work instructions and related documentation
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities
• Conduct root cause analysis
• Act as point of contact for Quality/Engineering
• Prepare recommendations for process development
• Analyze capital expenditures and project designs
• Coordinate equipment installation and maintenance
• Monitor budget and forecast
• Develop best practices and innovative solutions
• Participate in Kaizen and project engineering
• Contribute to team effort and business unit goals
