Sr. Electronics Engineer - Advanced Engineering, Lighting

Job Description

The Senior Electronics Engineer at Milwaukee Tool will lead the design, prototype, testing, and troubleshooting of embedded electronics hardware and firmware for Lighting products.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in system design or related work experience
• Strong understanding of power management and embedded hardware and firmware implementations
• Experience with designing embedded systems and interfacing with microcontrollers
• Ability to write 'C' code

Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration and negotiations with Marketing and Engineering teams for market-disrupting vision
• Design new circuit designs using schematic capture, PCB layout software, SPICE, and knowledge of industry best practices
• Identify performance and cost tradeoffs of competing electronic design solutions
• Stay ahead of industry trends and technological advancements
• Provide effective communications within the organization
• Drive urgency in project schedules and accountability for key project metrics
• Mentor and guide junior Engineers
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers on multi-disciplinary projects
• Define project waterfall and set timelines for electrical engineering tasks
