Senior Innovation Engineering Manager

Job Description

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Front-End Innovation Manager to lead a team of engineers focused on creating innovative products in PPE, Storage, Hand Tool, and Layout products within the construction industry.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience working on a product innovation team
• 1+ years of management/team leadership experience preferred
• Expertise with design-thinking methods, processes, tools & creativity
• BS in Engineering or BA Industrial design are preferred
• Experience designing & engineering durable good products

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a staff of FEI engineers
• Support FEI roadmap development and resource planning
• Provide thought leadership to the organization
• Build and manage relationships with internal business teams
• Define and guide teams throughout the Front-End Innovation projects
• Create, socialize, and nurture a toolbox of innovation practices
• Coach engineers on technical and user integration
