Staff Integration Engineer, Verification & Validation

Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Staff Integration Engineer to ensure robust validation plans for their Electric Adventure Vehicles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (required), post-graduate degree preferred
• Experience with program management
• Strong curiosity to build better systems
• Background in engineering with a full understanding of the development process
• Ability to manage deadlines and motivate people to prioritize validation
• Knowledge of vehicle milestones, timelines, and system engineering interaction
• Understanding of production, retrofit, and prototyping processes
• Ability to make decisions with confidence and inspire teams
• Ability to learn, think creatively, solve problems, and work hard
• Positive attitude, clear communication, and motivation skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with program teams for validation timelines and build planning
• Work with quality engineering for risk assessment and DFMEAs
• Manage full validation process from requirements to production sign-off
• Plan pre-production vehicle assets efficiently
• Align cross-functional teams around validation plans and build needs
• Identify and resolve validation gaps, escalate critical issues, and report to leadership
• Identify and implement validation process improvements
