Job Description

Rivian is seeking an Intern for Hardware Design Engineering focusing on developing electronic components for electric vehicles.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering
• Proficiency in EDA tools (e.g., Cadence Allegro, Virtuoso Layout suite, Mentor Graphics Xpedition, Altium)
• Experience in signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), and thermal management techniques in electronics design
• Experience with simulation and modeling tools (e.g., ANSYS, HFSS, HSPICE, SiWave)
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as Chiplets, TSV, RDL, and Silicon Interposer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced electronic components focusing on electrical, thermal, mechanical, and reliability performance
• Conduct simulations to optimize electronic component design and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define package requirements and ensure alignment with device specifications
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and standards to drive innovation within the team
