Systems Design Engineer

Job Description

KLA is looking for a System Design Engineer (Product Development Engineer) to support reticle defect inspection tools in the RAPID FlashScan team in Ann Arbor, MI.

Requirements

• Master's Level Degree OR Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and validate detailed requirement specifications and solutions using systems engineering methodology
• Drive major design projects from requirements to final design release including regular milestone reviews with stakeholders
• Drive a systemic approach to complex topic analysis and troubleshooting
• Apply systems engineering principles to optimize critical systems-level instrument performance
• Interface closely with service, manufacturing and marketing teams to define and optimize system performance and resolve performance issues
• Hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance of engineering prototype systems
