Sr. Opto-Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

KLA is looking for a research scientist to lead the design process for various systems and solutions in semiconductor manufacturing.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years work experience in 3D solid modeling
• Minimum 3 years work experience in FEA, GD&T
• Strong background in the design of mechanisms
• Basic understanding of optical subsystems
• Familiar with manufacturing processes including machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding fabrication and castings

Responsibilities

• Drive design process from beginning to end
• Develop and track cost and schedule
• Generate detailed models and drawings
• Conduct various analysis such as fluid, thermal, and vibrational
• Participate in design reviews
• Support system integration and testing
