Algorithm Engineer (Image Processing, Computer Vision)

Job Description

KLA is looking for a research scientist with a strong background in image processing and computer vision to join their Broadband Plasma Division.

Requirements

• Doctorate (PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of related work experience

Responsibilities

• Create and refine algorithms for image alignment, segmentation, classification, and outlier detection
• Collaborate with the hardware team on optical imaging calibration
• Develop production-level code for robust performance and reliability
• Contribute ideas to advance technological capabilities and product offerings
