Associate Test Engineer

Job Description

KLA is seeking Associate Test Engineers for various positions in manufacturing to work on testing new technologies such as optics/opto-mechanical, assembly, electrical/PCB, alignment, and system integration.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in electrical component level testing, troubleshooting, and repair
• Experience with systems development and testing
• Ability to work in a clean room environment
• Technical Certificate, AS degree, military technical training experience, or equivalent vocational training in a technical discipline, or a minimum of 4 years of related experience
• Prior hands-on experience testing digital and/or analog components and systems

Responsibilities

• Perform set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies
• Determine and develop test specifications, methods, and procedures
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions
• Provide work assignment direction and technical training to peers
