Job Description

Join NVIDIA's Architecture Energy Modeling Team to collaborate on implementing energy modeling techniques for next generation GPUs, CPUs, and Tegra SOCs, contributing to improved energy efficiency in graphics and AI workloads.

Requirements

  • Pursuing or recently completed a BS, MS or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Strong coding skills, preferably in Python, C++
  • Understanding of VLSI, digital design, and computer architecture concepts
  • Basic understanding of fundamental concepts of power and energy consumption, estimation, and low power design
  • Background in machine learning, AI, and/or statistical modeling is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement tools and methodologies for efficient data generation from post layout netlists
  • Develop tools and infrastructure to sanitize metrics in the power analytical model
  • Identify runtime and memory limitations to speed up model delivery process
  • Mine data from performance runs to find important data paths and bottlenecks
  • Work with various teams to integrate data movement power models and improve power efficiency
  • Experiment with ML techniques to set proper power/energy targets for next generation chips
