Senior System Software Engineer - AI Performance and Efficiency Tools

Job Description

The role involves developing tools for AI researchers and SW/HW teams running AI workloads in GPU clusters, focusing on profiling, analysis, debugging, and benchmarking technologies.

Requirements

• BS+ in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong skills in C++ and Python programming
• Good understanding of Deep Learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow
• Experience with GPU cluster job scheduling, storage, and networking
• Motivated self-starter with problem-solving skills
• Passion for continuous learning

Responsibilities

• Building internal profiling and analysis tools for AI workloads at scale
• Creating debugging tools for common problems like memory or networking
• Developing benchmarking and simulation technologies for AI systems or GPU clusters
• Collaborating with HW architects to propose new features or enhance existing ones
