Senior Software Engineer, VLSI Design Tools

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a software engineer to develop and support infrastructure tools used by product engineers for chip design and verification processes.

Requirements

• BS (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years of software development experience
• Experienced with C++
• Experienced with GUI application development
• Understanding of data structures, computer architecture, and computer science theory

Responsibilities

• Design and implement VLSI tools for RTL and physical design
• Develop applications for project engineers with an emphasis on maintainability and ease of use
• Develop software tools and GUI applications in C++ to construct, analyze, and validate designs
• Research and develop software solutions to improve efficiency in architecture, hardware, and software teams
• Optimize workflows for chip modelers and designers
