Senior Physical Design Methodology Engineer

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking Senior Physical Design Methodology Engineers to join their outstanding Networking Silicon engineering team and develop industry-leading high-speed communication devices.

Requirements

• MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 5 years experience in Physical Design Engineering
• Familiarity with chip design aspects such as Floor planning, Clock and Power distribution, Place and Route, Integration and Verification
• Strong background in hierarchical design approach, top-down design, budgeting, timing, and physical convergence
• Knowledge of industry standard EDA tools and programming/scripting languages like Perl, Python, and C++

Responsibilities

• Develop physical design methodologies for graphics processors and SOCs
• Create unique solutions to physical design problems for NVIDIA chips
• Participate in developing flow and tool methodologies for chip floorplan, power and clock distribution, chip assembly and P&R, timing analysis and closure, power and noise analysis, and back-end verification across multiple projects
