Performance Engineering Intern, Deep Learning and HPC - Summer 2025

Job Description

Performance Engineer Intern focused on Deep Learning & High-Performance Computing applications at NVIDIA, responsible for benchmarking, analyzing data, and developing automation scripts.

Requirements

• Pursuing Bachelors/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
• Excellent programming and debugging skills in Python or Unix shell
• Advanced knowledge using Linux based systems
• Proficient in compiling software from source code
• Excellent English verbal and written interpersonal skills
• Excellent data analysis skills

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute GPU performance benchmarking across HPC and DL frameworks
• Aggregate, analyze, and generate reports with testing data
• Develop Python scripts for automation
• Work with internal engineering team to debug performance issues
• Learn to use the latest applications in Deep Learning and HPC
• Assist with the development of tools and processes for automated testing
