Job Description

As a Data Center Project Engineer at AWS Infrastructure Services, you will be responsible for supporting the construction of industry-leading data centers that directly support customers. You will work with a diverse team to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seamless capacity at the lowest cost.

Requirements

Four-year degree in a technical field such as engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience
2+ years' experience in construction industry or engineering organization
Experience managing construction data, design changes, and change orders

Responsibilities

Establish communication and coordination across data center region's general contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams
Develop and maintain tracking system for design changes, RFI's, and change orders
Request and review MOPs for detail, necessity, and risk
On-board new vendors for badging and orientation
Update project management software with milestone dates and documents
Monitor delivery of owner furnished material to site
Compile and store construction data from vendors
Manage checklists including substantial completion, safety, and quality
