Operations Engineer

Job Description

The Operations Engineer at Amazon will lead and manage cross-functional projects to develop and deliver sortation and distribution solutions, working with talented engineers to design physical distribution systems.

Requirements

• Experience managing cross-functional projects with automated equipment and integrated systems
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.)
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM field

Responsibilities

• Independently manage challenging projects and deliver on project objectives
• Participate in engineering reviews and impact proposed solutions
• Coordinate execution efforts for system and equipment designs
• Lead effective meetings and communicate project status
• Articulate designs to internal customers and partner teams
• Manage change order controls, purchase orders, and invoice approvals
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and lead process improvement initiatives
