Job Description

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure to ensure continual access to innovation for customers. They are seeking talented individuals to join their diverse team.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering degrees with 3+ years Controls related experience, or Associates degree with 5 years, or High School diploma with 8 years
• Experience with industrial controls in critical environments
• 2+ years of experience in Controls or Electrical construction project coordination
• M.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering degree preferred
• Experience with designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems
• Proficiency with communication protocols like TCP/IP, MQTT, BACnet, MODBUS
• Strong understanding of engineering documentation and standard operating procedures
• Proven track record in cultivating relationships and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis for BMS and EPMS issues in data centers
• Train and assist internal customers/stakeholders with BMS and EPMS systems
• Provide technical support during the data center life cycle
• Develop project scope, budget, and manage BMS & EPMS improvement projects
• Assist in procurement activities and manage service contracts
• Participate in on-call schedule for immediate technical support
• Attend project meetings, coordinate with leaders, and report status regularly
• Support commissioning activities and review controls sequence of operation
• Manage stakeholder deliverables, requirements, and financials
• Visit data centers to troubleshoot, supervise vendor's work, ensure compliance
