Job Description

Join the AWS Infrastructure Services team to maintain critical physical infrastructure supporting Amazon Web Services and ensure continuous access to innovation for customers.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of work experience in a data center or critical environment
• 4+ years of Facilities Management Experience

Responsibilities

• Act as primary escalation point for facilities-related issues
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures
• Provide training and guidance to Engineering Operations Technicians
• Create and deploy new standard practices for operations
• Assist in building out new facilities and improving current facility efficiency
• Work outside of normal business hours for maintenance and emergencies
• Communicate technical information to non-technical audience
• Coordinate projects and optimize plant safety and efficiency
• Establish building performance benchmarks and prepare reports
• Ensure safety procedures are adhered to by staff
• Utilize administrative tools for day-to-day tasks
