Job Description

Seeking a talented Combustion and Emissions Systems Technical Specialist to join the team specializing in Engineering for Cummins Inc. in Columbus, IN.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or appropriate STEM field required
• Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area required
• Knowledge of MS Office tools preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across functional teams to drive development of OBD from requirements through to certification
• Lead planning of all OBD relevant tasks, manage the OBD War Room, and communicate updates to a broad audience
• Gather input and negotiate with stakeholders, make important decisions on project details, apply and enhance processes like PPP and VPI, independently lead projects, execute work processes independently, coordinate work among technicians, provide technical guidance, operate as a recognized specialist in a specific discipline or product area
