Senior Scrum Master

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Scrum Master to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Cummins Inc. facility in Columbus, IN. The Scrum Master role is a unique Agile team member who dedicates much of their time to facilitating communication, coordination, and cooperation among team members, ultimately assisting the team in achieving their delivery goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience
• Agile Certification (Certified Scrum Master - CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or Safe Scrum Master Certification (SSM) preferred
• Experience working in a software development organization and in an Agile environment as a scrum master

Responsibilities

• Exhibit behaviors of a Lean-Agile Leader with a Lean-Agile Mindset
• Ensure adherence to Scrum rules, Built-In Quality practices from Extreme Programming (XP), Work in Process (WIP) limits from Kanban, and other agreed-upon processes
• Assist the Product Owner in managing the backlog and guiding the team
• Facilitate the removal of impediments, supporting the team in addressing and eliminating issues
