Operations Engineer I

Job Description

Seeking highly motivated engineers to operate and troubleshoot complex cloud computing infrastructure for U.S. Government agencies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in Systems Administration in Linux/Unix
• 1-3 years of experience in Networking (TCP/IP, DNS)
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
• US Citizen with active secret or top secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Operate the Managed Service platform and collaborate with internal service teams
• Troubleshoot complex issues and drive root cause analysis
• Build proof of concept environments following cloud-best-practices
• Identify and drive improvements to technical processes
• Act as an escalation point and mentor to less experienced engineers
• Provide the voice of the customer to internal AWS teams
• Drive customer communication during critical events
