Job Description

Audible is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the development of data systems and datasets in a fast-growing organization that shapes the company's technical strategy for the future.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Programming experience with one or more modern language (e.g., Java, C++, C#, Python)
Experience contributing to the architecture and design of systems
Experience writing clear, maintainable and extensible code

Responsibilities

Lead the development of systems and datasets
Peer review and mentor junior team members
Analyze source systems and define data sources and transformation requirements
Utilize technology expertise to build systems aligned with business needs
Implement systems using software engineering best practices
Communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders
Conduct peer reviews and mentor team members
