Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design transportation solutions for various Amazon business verticals
• Build distributed systems focusing on operator and customer experience
• Maintain high standards in software quality through code reviews and reducing tech debt
• Mentor junior engineers in building scalable software
• Influence technical strategy and architectural decisions
• Ensure high-quality software through active participation in code reviews
• Contribute to operational and engineering excellence by resolving tickets, improving infrastructure, reducing costs, and monitoring/alerting
• Collaborate with product owners to align with long-term goals
