Systems Developer, Kuiper Enterprise Technology

Job Description

Amazon's Project Kuiper is a low Earth orbit satellite broadband network aiming to provide fast, reliable internet to customers worldwide. The Systems Development Engineer will be responsible for implementing security controls and processes within the Kuiper Enterprise Technology team.

Requirements

• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
• Experience programming with modern languages such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

Responsibilities

• Automate and implement security controls
• System Development Engineering
• Assisting certifications and assessments programs by liaising with Kuiper Security, auditors, and Kuiper service teams
• Help drive continuous improvements to the Kuiper compliance program
• Develop dashboards, canaries, and alarms for all automated controls
• Clearly communicate vision, deliverables, and project status to management and key stakeholders
• Deliver recommendations and risk interpretations in a clear, concise format
