System Administrator, Kuiper Trust Services

Job Description

Project Kuiper is seeking a System Engineer / Systems Administrator to manage services around public key infrastructure, certificate management, and identity management for an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites.

Requirements

• 3+ years of DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Systems Administration, or enterprise production experience in similar environments.
• 3+ years of operating in a 24/7 production environment.
• Development of systems automation in a scripting language: Bash/Shell, Perl, Python, Ruby, or similar languages.
• Linux based systems administration experience.
• 3+ years experience with cloud computing technologies.
• 3+ years of networking experience.
• 3+ years of support procedures and methodologies for production computing environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage hardware and software for secure communications and strong authentication.
• Enable confidentiality for customers and security for the constellation.
• Drive development, deployment, and operation of mission-critical security systems.
