Engineering Operations Technician, Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO)

Job Description

Amazon is seeking an energetic individual to join their Data Center Engineering Operations team to maintain critical infrastructure systems with a focus on customer service and innovation.

Requirements

• Technical (Military/Trade School) training or 2+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience in a mission-critical infrastructure or equivalent experience in a relevant industry
• 2+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office products
• High school or equivalent diploma

Responsibilities

• Supervise contractors performing servicing or preventive maintenance
• Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal SLA
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures
• Take daily operational readings of equipment
• Utilize internal management systems for building workflows
