Job Description

Join Amazon Web Services as an Engineering Operations Technician to work in sophisticated data centers and help maintain critical infrastructure systems.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent diploma
• Technical (Military/Trade School) training or 1+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience in a mission-critical infrastructure or equivalent experience in a relevant industry
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 1+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office products (including Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Performing daily building rounds to monitor and record information from critical equipment
• Assisting in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events
• Performing rack installs and decommissioning
• Performing preventative maintenance, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment
• Monitoring daily work requests and managing to resolution
• Supporting contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors on-site
• Working in shifts depending on site needs
