Job Description

This position involves working as part of Amazon's Data Center Engineering Operations team to maintain and operate critical infrastructure systems in data centers around the globe.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent diploma
• Technical (Military/Trade School) training or 1+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 1+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Performing daily building rounds to monitor and record information from critical equipment
• Assisting in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events
• Performing rack installs and decommissioning
• Monitoring work requests and managing projects from conception to completion
• Supporting contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors on-site
• Working in shifts up to 12 hours and on-call rotations
