Sr. Construction Manager, Data Center Construction

Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to join their team responsible for constructing Amazon Data Centers and ensuring safety, security, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent with 7+ years of relevant construction experience
• 6+ years in construction management of large, complex projects
• 6+ years of general contractor and vendor management experience
• Experience in Data Center system-level architecture and engineering principles

Responsibilities

• Own project scope, quality, schedule, and budget for construction projects
• Work with partner teams to build Data Centers supporting customers
• Manage construction contractors and vendors
• Drive construction teams to troubleshoot equipment failures
• Support commissioning, integrated system testing, and facility operations
• Analyze and report construction progress and financials
• Contribute to construction efficiency and data center resiliency initiatives
