Job Description

Senior Software Development Engineer role in the Device OS organization responsible for crash data collection and metrics implementation and delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Own the implementation and delivery of Device OS crash data collection and metrics
• Influence, invent, and design system architecture across multiple product and technology spaces
• Ensure state-of-the-art technologies are supported via flexible software architectures, OS and Hardware Platform abstraction, testability, and scalability
• Conceive and design innovative solutions by working cross-functionally and cross-organizationally
• Distill design choices, trade-offs, and priorities in ambiguous problem spaces
• Share best practices, influence and align teams, and be a technical ambassador for software reuse
