Sr. Software Engineer- AI/ML, AWS Neuron Distributed Training

Job Description

Annapurna Labs is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join the Distribute Training team for AWS Neuron, responsible for developing, enabling, and performance tuning a variety of ML models.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processing

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to build distributed training support into PyTorch and JAX using XLA, the Neuron compiler, and runtime stacks
• Optimize models for peak performance and efficiency on AWS custom silicon
• Work with chip architects, compiler engineers, and runtime engineers to create distributed training solutions
