Senior Security Engineer, AWS Vulnerability Management - Third-party Software

Job Description

AWS Security is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to manage security vulnerabilities in third-party software and open source libraries.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with security engineering
• Familiarity with common attack patterns and exploitation techniques for web & mobile applications
• Knowledge of cloud security and basic network security related concepts

Responsibilities

• Perform security risk assessments
• Perform vulnerability analysis
• Drive large scale and high impact remediation
• Work with service teams to develop scalable solution to manage third-party software security risks
• Project and research work as needed
• Security training and outreach to internal development teams
• Security guidance documentation
• Security workflow automation
• Security metrics delivery and process improvements
• Assistance with recruiting activities
