Job Description

Amazon is seeking a Sr. SDE for the FinTech Accounts Receivable (AR) Cash Applications team to automate processing, improve productivity, and achieve high levels of automation by 2025.

Requirements

• 8+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 8+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Influence architecture across services

• Lead resilient and highly available designs
• Ensure security and scalability are core to team's designs
• Implement new software by designing, coding, and launching multi-tenant cash application services
• Define bar raising standards for operational excellence and engineering best practices
